DOROTHY FOX CLAY ART PROJECT
All School Clay Artist in Residence
Volunteers Needed
Dorothy Fox students will be able to work with clay and make their own unique relief tile! Each student will get four sessions with Karie Oakes, a professional artist. While learning the basics of working with clay, children will create a three-dimensional self-portrait.
Many students have completed the step of creating their relief tile, which will be fired in the kiln, then they will glaze them!

Fox is Showing Love for Box Tops
It’s time for our Spring Box Top Contest. Drop traditional clipped Box Tops in plastic baggies or glue them to a game board. Clearly label game board or baggies with First and Last name, Room #, and Teacher. Give baggies or game boards to your teacher. Download Box Tops app on your device and collect instantly. The top classrooms in K-2 and 3-5 will receive the Box Tops trophy and a classroom surprise. The top 3 students collecting the most Box Tops will receive a Regal Movie gift card. Thanks for collecting box tops to raise money for our school!

Dorothy Fox would like to welcome special adult guests to join their student(s) for lunch and recess on Tuesday, March 24th (last names A-L) or Thursday the 26th (last names M-Z).
Adults should pack a lunch to eat with their student in the cafeteria as school lunch will not be available for adult purchase. Or, bring a special lunch to share with your student.
After lunch, don’t forget to check out the book fair in the library during recess! All purchases benefit Dorothy Fox Library.
